Skidding & Jacking

Circumstances may be such that the SPMT’s are not the preferred technical solution. An alternative method of horizontal transport is skidding. The load is fitted with skid shoes that move in skid tracks. Power is provided by hydraulics but may also involve the use of strand jack systems to pull the load along its way.

Jacking systems are used for example to position the SPMT’s properly under the load. The stroke of a jack can be controlled within millimetres. Jacking systems are also used to position loads on heights where a skidding system takes over the load to move inwards to a hall for example.
By using AutoCad an exact simulation is made as well as statistic calculations. Both are used for the positioning on location.

Whether old or new machines, a single machine or a complete production line has to be moved, we dismantle, we pack and conserve, we move the equipment by road, sea or air and we assemble the equipment.
