Our multi modal transport experience, along roads, railways, waterways and air, ensures our position as a full service provider in the heavy loads market. SCS is experienced in handling heavy elements like steel structures, earth moving equipment, ship sections, heavy cranes and all types of heavy pieces which have to be assembled on site.

Without doubt the self propelled modular transporter (SPMT) is the workhorse when it comes to load in and load outs, moves on sites or extreme heavy elements. The SPMT is a flat bed high capacity transponder with 4 or 6 axle lines that can each accommodate a load of 30 tons. Sharp turns, side way movements or even carousels on the spot can be executed. Hydraulic suspension allows very slow movements and the positioning of a load within millimetres of tolerance. Load in or load out on seagoing barges is a good example of the SPMT’s work area.

SCS HLT is not only specialized in the extreme cargo. Less big and heavy loads are transported daily on "ordinary" semi lowloaders.
